Disney Genie service and Disney Genie+ service, conveniently built into the My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you log into your Disney account, these services magically make your theme park visit easier and more fun. It’s like having your own personal genie in the palm of your hand.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pro, Disney Genie can help you get the most out of your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
The complimentary Disney Genie service creates your best Disney day inspired by your party’s top interests. It also grants you new planning features, including a personalized itinerary creator that seamlessly and smartly maps out your visit with updates that continue from morning to night. And, Disney Genie can even remind you when you’re eligible to make dining and activity reservations in advance.
You’ll receive attraction and dining recommendations inspired by what you told Disney Genie you’re most interested in doing. It even suggests a good time to go to an experience and an idea of the forecasted wait. Need to swap out an option? No problem. Disney Genie will continue to offer new suggestions throughout the day, so you can make the most of your time during your visit.
Disney Genie works hard all day long to continuously update your “My Day” itinerary with all of the latest and greatest information. Simply tap on this tab to find Disney Genie recommendations and plans you’ve made, including dining reservations, Disney Resort hotel reservations, and activity bookings. You’ll also be able to virtually chat with a Cast Member who can help answer any questions that arise.
The Custom Tip Board feature will let you see estimated wait times for your top attractions, entertainment, and dining. You can also order food, make dining reservations, check into a restaurant, request to join a virtual queue, and even select arrival times for our new Lightning Lane entrance at select experiences if you’ve purchased Disney Genie+ service or made an individual purchase.

Take Your Day to the Next Level with Disney Genie+ Service
There are 2 ways to purchase and select arrival windows for our new Lightning Lane entrances, and each option offers a different set of experiences to choose from: Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance and Individual Lightning Lane Entrance.
Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance
When you take your day to the next level by purchasing Disney Genie+ service, you may choose the next available arrival window for Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions and entertainment. There are more than 40 experiences across all 4 theme parks that are eligible.
You can enjoy a Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane entrance once per day. If you’d like to re-ride an attraction or see a certain show again within the same day, you are welcome to use our regular standby line.
Price: Disney Genie+ service is available for $15 plus tax (USD) per Guest per day.
How to Purchase:
Before Your Visit: Available as an add-on to a ticket or vacation package for the duration of your visit. Purchase via Disneyworld.com or with your Goldgell Getaways Travel Advisor.
Same Day of Visit: Available for single-day use for existing ticket holders or Annual Passholders. Purchase via Disney Genie service in the My Disney Experience mobile app.
When to Select Attractions: Once you’ve redeemed your initial selection (or the arrival window has passed), you can use the app to check your My Day itinerary or Tip Board to see when you’re eligible to make another selection. You can make selections up to regular park closing.
Experiences may vary by date, are subject to change or closure, are not guaranteed, are limited in availability, and may not be available at all on the date of visit or at the time you make a selection. Price, terms, and entitlements are subject to restrictions, and change or cancellation without notice.
Individual Lightning Lane Entrance
For some of our most highly demanded attractions, Lightning Lane entrance access is available to purchase individually. Guests may purchase and select an arrival window one at a time for up to 2 attractions a day. This option is available for all Guests—with or without Disney Genie+ service.
Price: Pricing and availability vary by attraction. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for current prices and attraction availability.
How to Purchase: You can make individual purchases within the Disney Genie service Tip Board or My Day itinerary in the app on the same day of your visit.
When to Select Attractions: You can purchase individual selections for up to 2 different attractions per day.
Guests of a Disney Resort Hotel and Other Select Hotels: These Guests can make their first purchase starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit. Available to Disney Resort hotel Guests and Guests of Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green.
All Other Guests: These Guests can make their first purchase when the park opens.
